The Naath Institute (NI) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), non-partisan and non-profit making Think-Tank in the Republic of South Sudan, under Chapter 3, Section 10 of NGOs Act, 2016, with REG. NO. 3,577, Juba, and was founded in 2020 by Academicians, Researchers, Professionals and Experts from dynamic educational backgrounds as an academic and research-based, consultancy and advocacy institution which focuses are research, advocacy and consultancy, and with aims to enhance learning, research, advocacy and capacity building, and to inform and influence policies that affect or have impact on justice, peace, health, social, economic, culture, governance and political situation that hinder progress and development in South Sudan.
South Sudan being a nascent state, it has virgin, untapped potential, raw and fresh resources and limited research, consultancy and advocacy avenues which require competitive and advantage of critical, innovation and analytical thinking, analyst programmers, advocacies, consultancies and research-oriented Think-Tanks to re-shape and inform policies and citizens.
These are the opportunities that The Naath Institute as a think-tank inspires to lead and explore to add values to the betterment of South Sudan and building of creative and innovative citizens. The Naath Institute (NI) works in partnership with regional and international based institutions to promote research, advocacy, education, people-oriented policy and development.
The Naath Institute, in affiliation with other reputable academic and research institutions, leads in conducting researches and policy studies that inform public and private institutions, nationals and internationals.
Across many other issues, The Naath Institute has objectives to strengthen rule of law, enhance research and knowledge and promote sustainable development through informative research, skill and capacity building, and advocacy for debatable policies.
The Naath Institute envisions to do research, policy debate, advocacy and knowledge building and as well as consultancy in all sectors which operations encompass law, social, health, human rights, culture, transitional justice, economic, policy, governance and beyond.
